2020 was one heck of a wild card and one that even our oldest family member has not witnessed in their lifetime alone. I know I need not ask you to take a moment to recognize how significantly each of our lives has shifted in ways we are still trying to make sense of and somehow still live in the present as a means of keeping moving forward.

 

Our world has changed. It is in the process of deep and irretrievable change. Our lives, our children’s lives and the lives of all those around us have been deeply impacted, with a future that still feels so uncertain. Some of us know that change was needed, and whilst some of us would  not have chosen change to occur in the devastating ways that it has, we know that needed change rarely happens peacefully. 

 

Chaos is the alchemy of transmutation and transformation. We often do not choose it, 

because of the discomfort that it creates and the unfamiliar territory that it can lead us into. 

 

The fear of the unknown is so uncomfortable in fact that we often stay stuck in situations and relationships that don’t serve or support us, that it’s easier to stay with the familiar - I know this path intimately and so you are not alone.

However, when we cast ourselves into the future and beyond the change, we reflect that, that change was the one thing that was needed to get us from where we longed to be, consciously or not and into a place where we can feel more aligned with the truth of our hearts.
